An exciting game was played this past Sunday between Wade's Atom Cougars and Carnduff. The first two periods showed some really great team work from our Cougars.
Goals were scored by a variety of players, Jarred Valentine, Jennifer Wilson, Cade Bendtsen, Logan Young, and two goals by Tyler Colpitts. Some excellent saves were made by our goalie Judah Wardrope. Unfortunately, the Carnduff team was able to score on two of their three powerplays. However, the Cougars refused to hang their heads and kept playing hard throughout the remainder of the game. The game ended 9-6 for Carnduff, but the coaches were pleased with the hustle and better positional play that our team showed.
We're looking forward to fun and exciting 2011-2012 season.
