Girls soccer team brings home gold

The under-10 Mini Red Devil girls' soccer team traveled to Swift Current to take part in the Southwest Soccerfest Tournament on the weekend of May 27 to 29, bringing home gold. In round robin play the girls had some great success.

The under-10 Mini Red Devil girls' soccer team traveled to Swift Current to take part in the Southwest Soccerfest Tournament on the weekend of May 27 to 29, bringing home gold.

In round robin play the girls had some great success. They faced Swift Current, defeating them 5-0, then they went on to face Moose Jaw, defeating them 5-1. Later that day, they faced another Swift Current team and defeated them 4-0.

On the last day of the tournament, the girls finished off the round robin play with a tie against the Swift Current Tigers 1-1. They finished with the same record as the Swift Current Tigers in the round robin play but due to goal differential the Mini Red Devils finished on top and came home with a gold medal from the tournament.
