ASSINIBOIA - Junior golfer Davin Karst is the latest Saskatchewan player to announce his commitment to join a University golf program at Milsaps College in Jackson, Mississippi.
Born and raised in Assiniboia, 17-year-old Karst credits his start in the sport to golfing with his grandmother Gaye Lewis at the Willow Bunch Golf Course.
Grandma Gaye said, “He is so good she can’t golf with him anymore.”
According to the NCSA College Recruiting website, Karst’s average handicap is 1.4, with 75 points as his 18 hole average.
