Local girls part of hockey challenge win

Four local girls helped he Estevan Pee Wee Power Dodge Vipers win the SaskTel Female Hockey Challenge in Regina.

Four local girls helped he Estevan Pee Wee Power Dodge Vipers win the SaskTel Female Hockey Challenge in Regina.

Paige Smith and Taylor Currie of Carlyle and Shania Taylor and Marcedes Singleton of Arcola travel all winter long3-4 times a week to keep their love of hockey alive.

They play with the Estevan Power Dodge Vipers, Pee Wee Division. They practice weekly in Estevan and are on the road on weekends tovarious places such as Regina, Ft. Qu'Appelle, Moose Jaw and Weyburn. On Dec 3-5th they travelled with their team to Regina and played five games in The SaskTel Female Hockey Challenge, it was a tournament with 16 teams from around the Province. They were undefeated in the tournament and came out as the 'A' Champs. Congratulations girls.
