Estevan Motor Speedway held a points race on July 16 and 17 with more than 90 racers participating.
During the Friday night race, the following are results for local racers:
Quentin Skjerdal won ninth in the feature race of the IMCA hobby stock, and Brent Skjerdal took 13th. Brent finished sixth in heat one of the hobby stock.
In the feature sport mods, Adrian Dickie of Stoughton took eighth place. Adrian had placed third in the first heat of the sport mods. Mike Hudson took fifth place in the second heat.
In the feature stock car race, Gary Goudy Sr. of Stoughton placed ninth. In the first heat, Gary Goudy Jr. of Stoughton took fourth place. In the second heat, Rodney Pickering placed fourth. In the feature modifieds race, Kelly Bauman took ninth place. Kelly placed third place in the second heat of the modifieds.
In the feature slingshots, Jagger Ashworth took seventh, Jorja Ashworth took eighth, and Brogan Wagner placed 11th. In the first heat, Jorja took sixth. In the second heat, Jagger finished first, and Brogan took third.
During the Saturday night race, the following are results for local stock car racers: In the hobby stock feature, Quentin took 10th place and Brent finished 13th. In the second heat of the hobby stock, Quentin took fourth place and Brent finished fifth. In the feature sports mods race, Mike Hudson took 10th place. He finished seventh place in the first heat of the sport mods.
In the feature stock car race, Pickering finished in sixth place, Goudy Jr. finished ninth and Goudy Sr. took 10th. In the first heat, Goudy Jr. took fifth place. In the second heat, Goudy Sr. finished fifth. In the feature modifieds, Bauman finished in 13th place. He took seventh in the first heat. In the slingshots feature race, Jagger Ashworth took third place. In the second heat of slingshots, Ashworth finished first, and Wagner took second place.
The next action at the Estevan Motor Speedway will be on Friday, August 6 and Saturday, August 7.
