The Midget Petro Bakken Wings hosted the Regina Capitals on January 25 and were able to skate away with a 8-0 shutout win. The Wings scored often and early and led 3-0 after the first period.

The Midget Petro Bakken Wings hosted the Regina Capitals on January 25 and were able to skate away with a 8-0 shutout win. The Wings scored often and early and led 3-0 after the first period. Scoring for the Wings were Tucker Neuberger with the first two goals, assisting on the first Neuberger goal was Donovan Lumb. Assisting on the second were Lance Tendler and Braden Mellon. Lyndon Lumb scored Weyburn's third goal of the period with the assists going to Braden Rood and Billy Cuthbert.

The second period saw the Wings add two more goals. Cole Sjostrand scored with Jack Carleton assisting and was followed up by a goal from Brayden Leslie, with Sjostrand and Kyle Crozier adding the helpers. The third period saw the Wings continue to apply the pressure and once again pumped three more pucks past the Capitals net minder. Mellon started the scoring with Neuberger and D. Lumb assisting, D.Lumb added the final two goals of the game assisting on the first was Neuberger and Jacob Eger, the second was assisted by Daniel Watson and Billy Cuthbert. Cuthbert picked up the shut out win in net. The next action for the Wings will be February 5 at 5:30 at Crescent Point Place when they will take on the Yorkton Terriers.
