The sixth annual AM 1190/The Family Place Million Dollar Hole-in-one kicked off at Jubilee Park on August 18.

Several residents made their way to the park to try their hand at a prize-winning swing. During the first day of competition, local resident Kevin Sidloski got a hole-in-one. He made the top 10 list for day one and will move on to the semi-finals on Sunday, August 22.

A swing of 98 yards qualifies participants for semi-finals. Fifty semi-finalists, the top 10 from each day, will compete at the semi-finals on Sunday.

Semi-finalists will get three shots for each day they qualified in the top 10. A hole-in-one on the first ball will get finalists $25,000. A hole-in-one shot on the second and third balls will grant participants with $10,000 and $5,000 prizes, respectively.

The semi-finalist closest to the 150-yard mark will get one shot for $1 million.

The semi-finals start at 3 p.m.
