Playing net for the game and keeping the majority of the pucks out of his net was #12 Cade Bendtsen, good job buddy. Scoring later on in the 1st period back to back was a #10 Brody Yuzicappi, great skating out there. To finish off the 1st period is a great defensive player and the best passer on the team #2 Tyler Colpitts great job out there! The Score after the 1st period was 5-2 Cougars, the fans were sure enjoying this season opener. After a short water break and a few words from their coaches both teams were back at it. We didn't have to wait long for some action, #3 Logan Young came out with a nice goal, asst by #15 Zane Winter great job boys! The fans would get some good back and forth now both teams were on the move and the goalies were on fire, there was even line changing with the play still going! The next goal would be a Huskie goal but it would be their last, and we would answer back within minutes as #1 Davien Slykhuis poked one in with a little help from #16 Adrien Riddell, good team work boys. To end the 2nd period #7 Degan Galbraith with a little help from Logan Young would pop another goal in with only a minute left, good job team! Not quite finished #3 Logan gets another opportunity to get another shot on the net and he scores another nice goal for the team. Now you haven't heard too much about him yet but he was out there hustling all game and he was denied a few times, but he got his opportunity to score and he did it with a little style not once but twice in a row, #14 Nate Robertson would end the game on a high.
