Paige Wheeler wins women's division at FrameTech Classic

Wheeler won the tournament for the second straight year.

ESTEVAN - For the second straight year, Paige Wheeler has won the women's championship flight at the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Course's FrameTech Classic.

Wheeler shot an 85 in Monday's third and final round to finish with a three-day total of 256 and win the tournament by 13 strokes over Roxanne Willerth. Rachel Harms was third at 271 and Taylor Wheeler came fourth with a 274.

Willerth shot an 87 in the first round to hold a one-stroke lead over Paige Wheeler. The top seven golfers were separated by eight strokes. But Paige Wheeler took the lead with an 83 in the second round for a five-stroke lead, and added to her advantage with an 85 in the third round.

The women's event was held over three days for the first time in a number of years.

Twelve women entered the classic this year.
