Photos: Estevan Curling Club U15 and U18 bonspiels

Twelve teams entered between different age groups

ESTEVAN - Young curlers showcased their abilities during a youth bonspiel at the Power Dodge Curling Centre on Friday and Saturday. Games were held in the U15 and U18 divisions.

Four teams were entered in the U15 division, and they played a round-robin. The Oxbow Black Knights took top spot with a 3-0 record. Team Lund was second at 2-1, the Snipers were third at 1-2 and the Estevan Curling Club entry wound up at 0-3.

As for the U18 division, eight teams were divided into two pools of four, with each pool having a round robin. In Pool A, Team Fradette and Team Lampman 2 finished tied for first, each with a 2-0-1 record.

Team Johnson was third at 1-2 and the Estevan Comprehensive School mixed team was 0-3.

As for Pool B, the Oxbow Black Knights were the top team at 3-0. Team Moulding was next at 2-1, Lampman was third at 1-2 and the Estevan Comprehensive School girls team finished 0-3.
