Two provincial final games will now happen Sunday.

A couple of southeast Saskatchewan senior hockey teams will have to wait a little longer to start their respective Hockey Saskatchewan provincial finals, thanks to the winter storm hitting the area.

The Carlyle Cougars were supposed to play the Wadena Blizzards Saturday night at the Carlyle Sports Arena. But that game has now been pushed back to Sunday night in Carlyle, starting at 6 p.m.

Game 2 is set for March 18 in Wadena, and Game 3, if necessary, would be the following day in Wadena.

The Carnduff Red Devils were to host the Kyle Elks Saturday night in Game 1 of the best-of-three Senior C provincial final, but that game has been pushed back to Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Fast Centennial Arena in Carnduff.

Game 2 is March 18 in Kyle and Game 3, if necessary, would also be in Kyle.
