Members of the Weyburn Silver Seals swim club travelled to Assiniboia on July 13 and to Swift Current on July 14 to compete in swim meets. Weyburn swimmers receiving medals at the meet were:

Ruslan Edgerton - 11-12 year-old boys - bronze medal: 100 fly - first; 50 breast - second; 50 free - fourth and 50 back - second.
Tyler Grieve - 13-14 year-old boys - silver medal: 200 free - first; 100 fly - second; 50 breast - first; 50 free - third and 100 IM - second.
