Update: Estevan Bruins fall in Game 3 of the SJHL final

The Estevan Bruins and Flin Flon Bombers are back on the ice for Game 3 Tuesday night in Flin Flon, Man.

FLIN FLON, Man. - The Flin Flon Bombers have cut into the Estevan Bruins' series lead in the SJHL final. 

Brett Wieschorster scored a power-play goal with 58 seconds to play in the third period to lift the Bombers to a 4-3 victory over the Bruins Tuesday night in Game 3 of the final at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon.

Estevan leads the best-of-seven series 2-1. 

Zak Smith scored on a power play 10:28 into the first period to give the Bombers a 1-0 lead. Smith notched the Bombers'' first three goals of the series. 

The Bombers had a chance to add to the lead a couple of minutes later, but hit the crossbar. The Bruins' best chance to score in the opening frame came when Caelan Fitzpatrick hit the post on a Bruins' power play. 

Mark Rumsey scored to tie the game early in the second period. Olivier Pouliot added a short-handed goal a short time later to give Estevan a 2-1 lead.

Drew Kuzma's goal with 7:35 to play in the middle frame tied the game and Jaeden Mercier scored just over two minutes later to restore Flin Flon's lead. 

Kade Runke scored with 8:34 to play in the third period to tie the game again. Estevan and Flin Flon both had power plays later in the third period, but it would be Flin Flon who converted. 

Boston Bilous stopped 24 of the 28 shots he faced for Estevan. Cal Schell made 31 saves on 34 shots for the Bombers.

Game 4 will be played Wednesday night in Flin Flon. Game 5 is set for Saturday night in Estevan.
