Weyburn Comp Eagles int. boys win home games

The WCS Eagles teams have been busy on the weekend

The Weyburn Comp Eagles basketball teams were busy on the weekend, with the intermediate boys holding a home tournament, with numerous changes made to the schedule prior to its start.

The intermediate boys took on Swift Current Colts on Friday, and defeated them 80-55, and later in the evening they played the Balgonie Greenall Griffins, and won 67-61.

On Saturday, the Eagles boys played Swift Current again, and won by a score of 76-58.

Earlier in the week, on Jan. 11, the WCS Jr. A girls defeated St. Michael by the score of 50-25.

On the weekend, the Jr. A girls were at a tournament in Moosomin, while the senior girls played in a tournament in Moose Jaw.

The senior boys participated in a basketball tournament in Regina.
