Weyburn Lacrosse in practices, games to start up soon

Field lacrosse started on Friday night, while box lacrosse has been going for three weeks now

WEYBURN – The Weyburn Lacrosse Association is entering into week 3 now for practices. The groups practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Crescent Point Place and the Sports Arena from 5:30 until 9:30 p.m.

With 120 athletes registered for box lacrosse, and 50 for field lacrosse, league games/schedules will be starting up within two weeks as well.

The Rattlers field lacrosse groups, from U6 to U19, began on Friday at the Credit Union Spark Centre, where they will play for two weeks before moving to the fields at Jubilee Park.

The youngest group, U4, in the learn lacrosse together program, play at Crescent Point Place on Tuesdays from now until May 10.

The U6 Thrashers play on Tuesdays at Crescent Point Place from now until June 16, while the U8 Thrashers play in the Tom Zandee Sports Arena every Tuesday until June 16, along with the U10 Thrashers, and the U12 Thrashers.

The U14 and U16 Thrashers play at Crescent Point Place from now until June 16.
