Weyburn Soccer Assoc. presents year-end awards at ceremonies

The WSA's annual meeting saw some new faces join the executive, along with team and volunteer awards.

WEYBURN – The Weyburn Soccer Association presented their year-end team awards at a ceremony held on Aug. 30 at the Credit Union Spark Centre, along with their annual general meeting.

The executive committee for WSA are as follows, as a result of the AGM.

The president is Jason Roy; treasurer, Heather Sidloski; sponsorship, Tammy Friesen; adult division, Ryan Campbell; and grassroots, Ian Fleck.

Voted in new this year are technical director David Henderson; registrar Dana Thiedig; fields and maintenance, Kelly Cochrane; and members-at-large, Morgan Sidloski (social media); Melissa Francis (jerseys); Daniel Kelly (adult-all abilities); Kellie and Troy Sidloski, and Jeremy Wall.

Awards were presented for each team, with categories including most dedicated (MD), most improved (MI), coaches’ award (CA) and most valuable player (MVP).
