Clifford John Reaney of Weyburn, Saskatchewan passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at the age of 62 years. Clifford was predeceased by his father, Mel Reaney; mother, Molly Partridge; step-father, Herb Partridge and brother-in-law, Ronald Seiferling. Clifford was born May 19, 1955 at Rossburn, Manitoba. He was raised in the small town of McTaggart, Saskatchewan with 4 siblings and attended schools in both McTaggart and Weyburn. For a time Clifford worked for the Saskatchewan Wheat Pool at their head office in Regina, Saskatchewan. He also enjoyed a 20 year career with the Canadian Armed Forces (Army) with various oversea postings and postings across Canada. Clifford lived 2 years in Calgary, 4 years in Germany, 2 years in Vancouver, 12 years in Cold Lake and eventually returned to Weyburn until the time of his passing. During his career in the army, Clifford was involved in peacekeeping efforts in Germany, Haiti and Italy. After retiring from the army Clifford started the CR Safety company in Weyburn. In his leisure time he enjoyed bicycling, reading, bowling, darts and golfing. Clifford also enjoyed several memorable family camping trips. After retirement he was also active at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #47 in Weyburn. Clifford will be lovingly remembered by his sister, Joyce (Jack) Nolan of Vegreville, AB; sister, Marjorie Reaney of Regina, SK; brother, Gordon (Shirley) Reaney of Weyburn, SK and sister, Jean Seiferling of Regina, SK; nephew, Deric Reaney and his children, Kaelan, Kiersten and Kiley; nephew, Brad (Joanna) Reaney and their children, Jarren, Cameron and Linnea; nephew, Kevin (Krista) St. John and their children, Alysha and Rory; nephew, Shane (Dawna) St. John and their children, Jason and Justin; nephew, Shaun Seiferling, niece, Shauna (Chris) Duke and their children, Ryland and Kealan and nephew, Shane (Corinne) Seiferling and their children, Benjamin and Marshall. A Celebration of Clifford’s Life was held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. from the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #47, Weyburn, Saskatchewan with Chaplin Marjorie McLeod officiating. A time of lunch and fellowship followed the service. Interment was at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, Saskatchewan.
