John “Jack” Frederick Doerr, late of Weyburn, SK, passed away on November 1, 2017 at the age of 79 years. Jack was predeceased by his parents: Stewart & Hilda Doerr; in-laws: Emil & Josie Dahl; son Rick Doerr; grandson Aaron Giroux; brother Don Doerr; brothers-in-law: Ken Hirtle, Russ Swayze; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gordon & Margaret Myers, Lloyd Myers and first wife Millie, Melvin & Hilda Myers; Frances & Peter Briltz, Delores & Alex Dowhaniuk, Ernie Dahl, Jim & Lynne Dahl. Jack is survived by his wife Darlene; daughter Michell Giroux (Gary) and children Stacey Simpson (Chris), Sara Giroux, Stefanie Giroux (Cory), Kristy Giroux, Marc Giroux, Gary Jae Giroux (Lee); son Ron Doerr (Randi) and children Devin Creasy (Lindsey), Caylie Creasy (Dylan), Travis Doerr (Emma); daughter Sherry Doerr (Darren) and children Elijah Baiton, Kale Baiton (Sabrina); great grandchildren: Zachary, Ayla, Makara, Jaycee, Kohbin, Brooklin, Layla, Kayson, Hanna, Knoxlie; sister Joy Hirtle, brother Darcy (Dianne); sisters-in-law: Norma Doerr, Doreen Dahl; brother-in-law Doug Dahl (Linda); as well as many nephews and nieces. A Celebration of Life for Jack was held Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. from the Weyburn Curling Rink with Marjorie McLeod, CLA, officiating. Interment will be held at a later date at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weyburn, SK.
