Ronald William Nickolas Kalynka late of Creelman, Saskatchewan who passed away December 19, 2017at the age of 75 years. Ron was predeceased by his parents, Dmytro and Jennie Kalynka; mother & father-in-law, Gus & Doris Anderson and sister-in-law, Dolores Anderson. Ron will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 53 years, Eileen Kalynka of Creelman, SK; daughter, Kim (Alan) Crawford of Kenosee Lake, SK; grandson, Chase Crawford; daughter, Shanna (Stuart) Kosior of Kenosee Lake, SK; granddaughter, Ashton (Brandon) Wilson; granddaughter, Raquel (Travis) Carlson; granddaughter, Dakota Kosior; son, Sheldon (Kathy) Kalynka of Regina, SK; grandson, Kalan Kalynka; sister, Natalie (Ted) Rothery and sister, Iris (Patrick) Meehan; brother, Ernie (Carrie) Kalynka and brother, Terry Kalynka as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation was held on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 7:30 pm ~ 9:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Chapel Weyburn, Saskatchewan and the Funeral Service was held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. from St. Andrews United Church, Creelman, Saskatchewan with Pastor Allan Gairns officiating. Interment followed in Golden Gates Cemetery, Creelman, Saskatchewan. Pallbearers were Alan Crawford, Stuart Kosior, Ted Warren, Bernie Krieger, Dave Muchowski and Fred Short. Honourary pallbearers were Jim Lynch, Don Bohn, Barry McDonald, Eric Loucks, Don Anslow, Calder Hawkesford as well as the many people who have touched Ron’s life. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Ron may be made to a local charity of the donor’s choice.
