CARNDUFF — Recently, with the parent company upgrading their look, the Carnduff Subway franchise was told it had to renovate to reflect the new image.
So, for the first time in 22 years, the town's Subway closed its doors to make those changes. The restaurant underwent a major overhaul. A new sub counter, signage, paint job, and tables and chairs – it ended up with very little in common to the old look.
June 14 was the grand reopening. Special discounts were given, free cookies were handed out and balloons were in abundance. The public had an opportunity to see and taste the new-and-improved Subway.
Owner Tammy Evans spent part of the day at the restaurant.
“I’m excited about the new look,” she said.
