With school beginning soon sports camps are springing up, ready to give youth a jump start on refreshing their skills for the new season.

Dear Editor: In her article "Heroes, murderers or something in-between" in the July 26 edition of the Carlyle Observer, Cindy Moffatt appears to be endorsing euthanasia.

Mona Anne Rokochy (Sawchuk) of Wawota, SK, passed away at Deer View Lodge on June 8, 2013 at the age of 65. She was born on June 6, 1948 in Foam Lake, SK, to Carl and Diana Sawchuk, a sister for Carl and Evelyn.
