On May 7 at 7:30 p.m. the Arcola School Community Council will be holding a public meeting focusing on future plans regarding the school gymnasium. Discussions concerning renovations of the gym have been going on for a number of years.

Respect Ed. students taking charge of the planning of Pink Day, which will be held on May 1. Kyle Sargeant, Bjorn Rekken, Emily Klatt, Katie Matthewson, and Brooke Zacharias make up the members of Respect Ed.

Cornerstone Family and Youth (CFY) is currently celebrating its 10th anniversary and is very proud of the way it has blossomed over this time within the community.

On April 15 terror was once again struck into the hearts of many people with two bombs exploding near the finish line at the Boston Marathon. Killing and injuring many the suspects were then chased down.
