A group of volunteers have made initial steps to have a follow up to the Carlyle & District History book, "Prairie Trails to Blacktop".

On Wednesday, April 13, the students of both the high school and the elementary school took part in an Anti-Bullying Day at CES.

The Town of Arcola has approved the request submitted by the Arcola Curling Club to place a sign on the north side of Balmoral Ave. by the telephone pole.

Walking towards the gym, it is obvious that something special is going on behind closed doors. The music is pumping and cheers of support can be heard. Walking into the gym, it is like another world.

The three aims of my Easter Article are that it makes the reader laugh and cry, and that it resonates with some deep thought. The title propelled me well on my way.
