Carlyle Town Council held their regular bi-weekly meeting Wednesday, Nov. 16 at the Carlyle Civic Centre with Deputy Mayor John Brownlee presiding. Council's next regular meeting will take place 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 30 at the Civic Centre.

The 14 th Annual Dickens Village Festival is set to transport Carlyle to Victorian England in order to celebrate author Charles Dickens’ work, which includes the popular ‘A Christmas Carol,’ and the Victorian age.
