Greg Obrigewitsch may originally be from Daven, SK, but has seen a lot with each mile travelled becoming a great memory to be shared. As a youngster Greg's parents moved into Regina where he and his brother would find a job with the dime delivery.

The Town of Carlyle held their second meeting of the month on Wednesday, April 23, where they discussed numerous topics surrounding the community. The next council meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 7.

On Friday, April 25, a group of women came together to walk through Wawota to raise awareness for Huntington Disease (HD) with a Fourth Annual Walk for the Cure.

The ladies of the Fern Rebekah Lodge #33 are known as a distinguished group and that was never more apparent than on Saturday, April 26 when organization celebrated their 100th anniversary.

When I was a child, I used to play with three sticks. I would form them into a triangular shape that would stand upon the ground by itself. Three poles are the minimum required so that the shape could stand with no other assistance.

Pink Day was held on Thursday, May 1st. The purpose of "Pink Day" is to raise an awareness of bullying and the effects it may have on our students.

It is always a sure sign of spring when the Spring 4-H Steer and Heifer Show takes place in Yorkton. To start with I must throw some kudos to the Yorkton Exhibition Association for continuing to sponsor the event.
