Shirley Elizabeth (Betty) Cochrane February 18, 1941 - June 21, 2014 Shirley Elizabeth (Betty) Cochrane, late of Carlyle, Saskatchewan, passed away at Arcola, Saskatchewan on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at the age of 73 years.

The councillors of the Town of Carlyle met on Wednesday, July 2, to address numerous topics surrounding the community. Cornerstone Community Planning update The Cornerstone Community Planning Group had a meeting on June 26.

Lining Main Street in Stoughton on Saturday, July 5, were a mass of vehicles, adults, and excited children awaiting the parade for Stoughton Daze.

Last weekend 26 Saskatchewan women gathered in Moose Mountain Provincial Park at Golf Kenosee where they competed in the Amateur Women's and Senior Women's Provincial Championships.
