Last year's health care troubles in Arcola seem to be alleviated as new doctors have been brought in to work at the Arcola Family Health Clinic and the Arcola Health Centre.

Though the day was overcast and rain threatened to come pouring down on Friday, June 13, the Wawota Parkland School, grade 9 to 12 physical education class organized a track day for the elementary end of the school.

I was once told that I am to write what I know, which means this past week has meant being pulled in numerous directions with work, but also attempting to learn how to mark 4-H record books.

This week there's been a lot of transforming and preserving done at our house. First it was a triple batch of rhubarb chutney followed by a double batch of rhubarb-strawberry jam.
