Estevan man dies in Carlyle-area ATV collision

Carlyle RCMP are investigating after a 66-year-old Estevan man died in a two-ATV collision near Arcola.

CARLYLE — Carlyle RCMP are investigating a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) collision that claimed the life of a 66-year-old man from Estevan.

The incident occurred Aug. 31 on Range Road 2044 near Arcola. RCMP, along with EMS and STARS, responded immediately to the scene.

Investigators determined that three ATVs were travelling together when two of the vehicles collided. One driver was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene. His family has been notified.

The other two drivers reported no injuries to police.

Carlyle RCMP continue to investigate the collision.
