ALIDA — Carnduff RCMP arrested two individuals and recovered a stolen vehicle on First Street East in Alida on July 6.
Officers responded to a report of a truck that matched the description of a vehicle believed to be stolen from Weyburn. Upon locating the vehicle, police found two individuals inside and determined the vehicle had been stolen. The driver was also in breach of a release order.
A 35 year old and 38 year old were arrested at the scene.
A search of the truck uncovered stolen chequebooks and other stolen property.
As a result of the investigation, 35-year-old Skylar Trobert of Griffin and 38-year-old Jade Loucks of Moose Jaw are each charged with:

one count of possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000,

one count of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000,

one count of break and enter,
-
one count of possession of break-in instruments, and
-
one count of mischief over $5,000.
Trobert is also charged with failing to comply with a release order.
All charges are under Criminal Code.
Both accused appeared in Estevan Provincial Court on July 7.
Estevan RCMP and the Citizens on Patrol Program assisted with the investigation.
