A lot of mystery and curiosity surrounds the upcoming photography exhibit “Becoming Human”, to be displayed by Chris Borshowa in February.
The photography exhibit will shine a light on the different emotional elements that are all part of the human experience.
“About a year or so ago, I was going through some internal issues. I felt a little out of place, mostly because of my age … I wasn’t a child, but I wasn’t an adult. I was trying to figure out how I exist in that world,” said Borshowa.
“This exhibit was my way of purging and accepting those emotions and that I am just human.”
“This was an opportunity to accept the emotions that I am feeling, and that I can use this art form to express those emotions.”
“Even the technical side of the exhibit was really different for me. This one is more open, which really contrasts well with some of the darker elements of the exhibit,” said Borshowa.
Many elements of the “Becoming Human” exhibit is being kept as a closely-guarded secret. Borshowa is only revealing a few teaser photos to promote the exhibit.
“There are a lot of themes of anxiety and depression. While these emotions might be specific to one person, but I feel that these are feelings that everyone experiences.”
“There are a lot of positive elements too. There are a lot of themes that hint back to other stuff that I have done in the past.”
Borshowa did note that he had a strong support team working with him to create the photo exhibit.
