Weyburn actress Bernadette Mullen-Hennig won an award for “Best Actress in a Feature Film” for her role in the post-apocalyptic movie, “Welcome to Kittytown”.

Candidates' forum for the provincial election will take place on Oct. 23.

The 2024-25 season for the Weyburn Concert Series will open with an acoustic show by award-winning country artist George Canyon on Oct. 9, at 7:30 p.m. in the Cugnet Centre.

Artist Iris Hauser seeks to celebrate the strength and creativity of older women in her exhibit showing at the Weyburn Art Gallery, she told an audience on Friday.

A play about adult attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD), entitled “I Have No Idea”, will be staged in Weyburn at the Tommy Douglas Centre on Oct. 5 and 6.

The tour will include showcases at two major Canadian music conferences, and concerts in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
