Two Danspirations … What a Feeling recitals drew a full house to the Estevan Comprehensive School's cafetorium.

The nine performers of the Spirit Singers, plus seven chaperones, flew to New York City on Tuesday morning, in preparation for the group’s performance at Carnegie Hall on June 1

Art from Assiniboia Elementary School is on view in the Kay Cristo Room at the Assiniboia Public Library during open hours until June 24.

The City of Weyburn will reopen the Weyburn Art Gallery and continue showing the “8 Rooms” art exhibit, after the gallery was closed due to a complaint.

The 15th annual festival occurs Saturday, June 15, in the small village about 30 minutes west of Moose Jaw on Highway 1. 

Straker releases his newest album, “Great Big Sky,” a Prairie-themed, 10-song recording, on Friday, June 7. To celebrate this launch, he will perform seven shows at or in seven grain elevators as part of The Prairie Skyscraper Concert Series.

A cast of 50 is busily preparing to stage the musical, “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at Grace United Church in Weyburn.

The Grades 7, 8 and 9 theatre club at St. Michael School is taking a musical look at putting on a musical in a high school, with staging of “High School Musical Jr.”

“Reckless” is a tribute band that specializes in recreating the high energy performances of Bryan Adams in concert.

Yorkton, Battlefords, Prince Albert, Melfort, Cochin, Last Mountain, Moose Jaw all represented at festival.
