Many families attended the Weyburn Police Association’s Magic Variety Show held at McKenna Hall on Monday evening, with $4,000 raised.
The association has been putting on this variety show in Weyburn for over 30 years  with Co-Ho Productions, and have raised funds for many community organizations, particularly those that benefit children and families.
This year’s show featured Weyburn’s Richy Roy, along with Trevor and Lorena Watters and Michael Dardant. The magicians sold some magic tricks after the show, and stayed to show the children how to perform the tricks.
In the past the association has donated to local day cares, the Weyburn and District United Way and Communithon, the food bank, Grade 12 Chem-Free Grad, the Youth Center, One Hope Canada youth summer camp, the Weyburn Big Brothers Big Sisters Kids N Kops summer program, Minor Baseball, and secondary education in police studies.
The police association has 18 members, men and women of the Weyburn Police Service.
