Tickets are available from the school office of the Weyburn Comprehensive School for the upcoming presentation of the musical “High School Musical”. The cost is $15 for adults and $8 for youth occupying a seat. Show times next week are Thursday, Friday and Saturday, May 25 to 27 at 7 p.m. and a matinee performance on Sunday, May 28, at 2 p.m.
Saturday marked the end of the badminton season with the SHSAA provincials being held here in Weyburn. Travis Friedrick and Curtis Regnier captured a bronze medal in boys’ doubles. This is the first provincial badminton medal for WCS in a number of years.
The Comp is hosting the regional track meet today, May 17, to determine athletes going on to the districts next week.
The middle years music students are off to Brandon, Man., for their music trip on Thursday and Friday, May 18-19.
A wrestling clinic will be held in the Eagle gym this weekend.
The Grade 6 information night will take place on Tuesday, May 30, starting at 7 p.m. in the Cugnet Centre. All prospective Grade 7 students along with parents are encouraged to attend.
