The third annual STARS Lottery officially launched May 14 with 2,104 prizes worth more than $4 million retail. The STARS Lottery raised more than $1.8 million last year and is STARS' single largest fundraiser in Saskatchewan, helping critically ill and injured patients across the province.
"In 2013 STARS responded to more than 800 emergencies from our two bases in Saskatchewan," said STARS president and CEO Andrea Robertson. "The funds we raise through the STARS Lottery are vital to keeping STARS in the sky."
There are three grand prizes worth $3.12 million to be won, including two beautiful show homes in Regina and Saskatoon, as well as a truck and fifth wheel trailer package.
An outstanding early bird prize is available to be won for those who buy their tickets before the July 3, 2014 deadline - a package including a 2014 Mercedes-Benz ML350, a four-night Las Vegas vacation for two plus $5,000.
In addition to the grand and early bird prizes, there are five vehicles, 15 vacations and sports adventures, 993 electronic prizes and 1,059 other great prizes including cash, furniture, jewelry and luggage. Two lucky winners can also enjoy a flight of a lifetime aboard a STARS helicopter. Buyers are eligible for all prize draws if tickets are purchased prior to the applicable deadlines.
New to the STARS Lottery this year is the addition of the LUCKY STARS 50/50. Purchasers of STARS Lottery tickets also have the opportunity to win up to $700,000 by including Lucky STARS 50/50 tickets with their order. Lottery ticket prices are a single ticket for $60, two for $100 and six for $250. Tickets for the Lucky STARS 50/50 are only $10 each, five for $25 and 15 for $50.

The early bird draw is July 18, 2014 with ticket sales cut off July 3, 2014 at midnight. The final draw is set for August 13, 2014 with ticket sales cut-off at midnight on July 23, 2014. The Lucky STARS 50/50 draw date is August 13, 2014, with the cut-off sales date being July 23, 2014. If tickets sell out prior to the early bird deadline, all draws will begin on July 21, 2014.
