One of several flocks of snow geese passes over Weyburn on Thursday, as mild weather finally began arriving in the southeast to melt away the snow from a long winter. For the geese, normally used to bare fields to land in on their annual journey north, they are still finding a lot of snow-covered fields in the area; as the warm weather begins the spring runoff, however, they will find more and more open fields to forage and nest in.
