Violinist Bridget Alexander played a classical piece, accompanied by her mother Cherith on piano, as part of the Stars of the Festival concert held on Wednesday evening in the Cugnet Centre. Bridget won a $300 scholarship from the Weyburn Young Fellows Club for her performance, and was recommended by the adjudicator to advance on to the provincial level in violin. She will also compete provincially in the piano category.
