Representatives from ArtFarm attended the awards gala for Saskatchewan Tourism held on Thursday evening.
ArtFarm was won of three finalists for the Saskatchewan Tourism Community Event of the Year.
The North Battleford International Street Performer Festival won the 2015 Community Event of the year award.
“It was a posh event. We were very humbled and honoured to be included in that room full of people that are doing amazing things for tourism in our province,” said Heather van der Breggen, committee member of ArtFarm.
“We are grateful to the Weyburn Chamber of Commerce for their nomination of ArtFarm and of course for all the people that come together to make our event fantastic.”
There were over 80 events nominated across the province.
ArtFarm IV will be held at the van der Breggen farm on June 11 from 1 to 8 p.m. “We remain strong in our belief that ArtFarm’s success is proof that creation matters, live music speaks, Saskatchewan people are the optimum teammates and the most spectacular backdrop is the big sky of the Saskatchewan prairies,” said van der Breggen.
