A woman came home from work and called 911 saying her house burnt down, approximately 2 km north of Highway 705 on Sunday morning.
When fire fighters arrived at 5:30 a.m. the house was “a total loss” according to Estevan fire Chief Shane Code, adding there was allegedly a cat inside who didn’t make it out. No other causalities or injuries were reported.
