During the month of November, Browns Socialhouse Weyburn and the Karma Salon are teaming up to help end cancer.
Both businesses are collecting $5 donations during November at both locations in exchange for a $5 off coupon that can be used at Browns Socialhouse.
Tickets are also available for a Movember Burger Madness Party, which will be held on Wednesday, November 30 at Browns Socialhouse from 4 p.m. until close. The tickets are $25 and $12 from each ticket sold will go directly to the Cancer Society.
The ticket includes a Hollywood burger, choice of side and a social drink. Prize baskets will also be available for auction throughout the whole night. The goal is to raise $2,000.
Secondly, Browns Socialhouse will host a Pajama Drive on December 4. Residents are invited to bring in a new unwrapped pair of PJ’s during that day to receive 50 per cent off a food meal (per person).
Pajamas will be collected that day only. There is a need for pajamas from ages newborn to 16 years old. The goal is to get all the local schools involved as well, to do it from classroom to classroom and school to school. Browns Socialhouses of Canada aims to collect 6,000 pairs of pajamas.
