Help the Canadian Cancer Society put cancer behind bars, as they will be hosting a Jail-N-Bail fundraiser event in Weyburn on Tuesday, Oct. 25.
Organizers are looking for outstanding citizens to participate in this fun fundraiser as a jailbird.
Jailbirds are painting the town orange. Bail is set between $500 and $1,500.
Create a charge, get arrested, and appear before the judge.
Those arrested will spend two to three hours in jail collecting donations from colleagues, friends, and family to make bail. Organizers can work around the schedules of those who are arrested.
For those who want to participate, but won’t be available to attend the event that day, organizers can have the judge put them on house arrest instead. You can collect donations from colleagues, friends, and family to make your bail without having to spend time in the jail.
