A number of candidates for Weyburn city council visit as they await election results to be posted on Wednesday evening at the Legion Hall. Seated in front are Rochelle Wendt, candidate Jeff Richards and his wife Lynette. Standing are candidates Brad Wheeler and Mel Van Betuw, Linda and Rob Stephanson and candidate Tim Hughes. Richards was the highest vote-getter of the council members, and Wheeler and Van Betuw were also elected to council. Stephanson was a 20-year veteran of council who did not run for re-election, and Hughes did not get elected.
