Lions member Gord Paulley says, “Gord Savill passed away in December 2014. The Lions Club  had always thought of putting up a gazebo at Lions Pride. Not only was Gord a great person, he also was a Lion for over 50 years. He deserved a gazebo.”

“In conjunction with the Savill family, we decided to erect a gazebo in Lions Pride Estates. “About 14 people-Gord's fellow Lions and other friends made it happen. One week, we got the cement pad poured and the week after, we got the gazebo up and the Savill family will be adding a plaque at a later date.”

“We're very happy that it's done,” adds Paulley. “It looks great and everyone at Lions Pride is already using it and enjoying it.”

“It's a fitting tribute to Gord Savill.”
