Carnduff RCMP is reporting highway closure due to a wildland fire.
The public is advised that Carnduff RCMP is onsite at Highway 9 South approximately six kilometres north of the U.S. border because of a large wildland fire.
Highway 9 South will remain closed while fire crews work to contain the fire.
“Please avoid all travel south on Highway 9. Highway Hotline will be updated when the road is reopened,” says the message distributed Wednesday afternoon through the Saskatchewan Crime Watch Advisory network.
