Krista MacPherson watches as her daughter Emilee goes through a writing exercise, at one of several stations set up for the "Celebration of Learning" evening in the Grade 6 class at Assiniboia Park School on Wednesday. The celebration follows the issuing of the school year's first report card at the elementary school level, and gives students an opportunity to show their parents what they've learning in the classroom in the first three months of school.
