Another successful harvest was completed at the Pangman Charity Farms, located at Joyce and Ken Kaufmanns near Pangman, Sask. Four combines, three grain trucks, volunteer man power and generous-hearts completed the eighth annual harvest.
Support was provided by E. Bourassa & Sons, Farm Credit Canada, Richardson Pioneer Ltd., and the RM of Norton. There were also a number of individuals who contributed their support: Kurtis Bourassa, John Colbow, Ross Colbow, John Friesen, Brian and Gladys Jesse, Mark Johnson, Ken and Joyce Kaufmann, Wayne and Connie Lozinsky, Adam Sambrook, Jeff West, Darren Marcenko, and Zach Fradette.
The Charity Farms was spearheaded by Brian and Gladys Jesse of Pangman, nine years ago. Their idea has raised $448,000, which has gone towards upgrades at the Pangman School.
