Weyburn police responded to a single vehicle collision at McTaggart Place and Johnson Drive on Sept. 26. As a result of the investigation, a 16-year-old male was charged with driving without due care and attention.
• City police responded to a local pub to remove an unwanted patron at about 11:10 p.m. on Sept. 26. A 31-year-old male was arrested and lodged in cells until sober.
• Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance between a 23-year-old male and a 25-year-old female at about 11 p.m. on Wednesday. The matter was able to be mediated for the time being. Alcohol was a contributing factor.
• Weyburn police received a complaint about an intoxicated individual in the downtown area at about 3:30 p.m. on Friday. A 54-year-old male was located and arrested for being intoxicated in a public place.
• City police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle at about 1:10 a.m. on Saturday. As a result the 43-year-old male was arrested for driving while prohibited. He also had been drinking and was issued a 72-hour suspension.
• Police were called to a report of unwanted house guests at about 3 a.m. on Saturday.
The people involved had left prior to police arrival, however another individual at the scene was taken into custody for being intoxicated.
• City police were dispatched to a local hotel regarding an unruly guest at about 6:30 a.m. on Saturday. While dealing with the person the police became aware that she was the subject of outstanding warrants for her arrest. She was arrested amidst a minor struggle and has been remanded in custody to face the outstanding charges.
• Weyburn police conducted a traffic stop at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday which resulted in a suspicion that the driver was under the influence of alcohol. A roadside breath test was administered, resulting in a 72-hour driving suspension being issued.
