City police investigate gun shots at Albert Street house

Members of the Weyburn Police Service investigate the scene in front of a vacant house at the corner of Albert Street and Hartney Avenue on Monday, after receiving complaints of gunshots in the area, and gunshot damage inside of the house.

Members of the Weyburn Police Service investigate the scene in front of a vacant house at the corner of Albert Street and Hartney Avenue on Monday, after receiving complaints of gunshots in the area, and gunshot damage inside of the house. Police cordoned off the area to allow the police’s Forensic Identification Section to gather evidence on the street, in the yard and in the house. The police indicated to their knowledge, no one was injured, and no motive or suspects have been identified at this point in the investigation. The first reports of gunshots came at 3 a.m. on Monday, but police found nothing out of the ordinary at the time.
