Weyburn police attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a vehicle seen driving in the Ebel Road area of the city around 3 a.m. on Saturday. The vehicle failed to stop as directed and fled the scene. Police are searching for a 2007-2009 black Dodge quad-cab diesel. No license plate was visible on the rear of the vehicle.

• Weyburn police received a call regarding a male attempting to gain entry to a vehicle at about 8:44 p.m. on Feb. 5. The male was located and found to be heavily intoxicated. He was taken into custody for his own safety and released when sober.
• City police were dispatched to a report of a potential drug overdose late on on Feb. 6. An adult male was located and assistance was given to have him transported to the local hospital for treatment.
• Police received a call to check on the well-being of a youth at about 12:55 p.m. on Feb. 6. The youth was found to have taken an overdose of medication and was transported to the hospital by EMS.
• Weyburn police received a report from a pub about two unidentified males who left without paying their tab on Wednesday. The first suspect was described as 6’2” tall, wearing black with facial hair, and the second suspect is described as 5’6” tall, wearing black with facial hair.
This occurred just before midnight. Anyone having information about the possible identification of either or both of these suspects is asked to contact the Weyburn Police Service, or to call Crime Stoppers.
• City police conducted a traffic stop of a vehicle driven by an adult male at about 1:20 a.m. on Thursday. As a result of the stop, the male driver was arrested and has been charged with driving over .08. His license was suspended pending the outcome in court and his vehicle was impounded for 30 days.
• Weyburn police responded to a domestic disturbance at about 7 a.m. on Thursday. The matter was mediated at the time. Alcohol was a determining factor.
• City police conducted a curfew check on a male youth on Friday, and found him to be in violation. Charges are pending.
• The Weyburn police CTSS Unit conducted a traffic stop at about 2:10 a.m. on Sunday. As a result of the stop, a male driver was arrested and has been charged with driving over .08. His license was suspended pending court and the vehicle was impounded.
• City police received a request to assist a family in dealing with an unruly family member on Sunday. The person was given a ride to the hospital to seek assistance.
• Weyburn police received a request to examine a vehicle to determine if the child seats were properly mounted and secured. Police would like to remind everyone that they do have members specially trained in the installation of child car seats and of the importance of having these seats secured correctly.
