City police seek info on armed robbery

The Weyburn Police Service are asking for any information from the public after an armed robbery was committed on Thursday evening. An unknown male entered a business in the 200 block of Third Street South at about 7:40 p.m.

The Weyburn Police Service are asking for any information from the public after an armed robbery was committed on Thursday evening.
An unknown male entered a business in the 200 block of Third Street South at about 7:40 p.m. Thursday, and demanded money and made a motion suggesting he had a weapon in his hoodie.
No weapon was shown or visible. There were no physical injuries to the store employee. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, about 25-30 years old. He is around 5’7” to 6’ tall with a medium build, one diamond ring in each ear, and was wearing a black hoodie, black or grey toque and loose-fitting pants.
The suspect was last seen running south on Third Street South.
