The Weyburn Comp school choirs will be performing in the Weyburn Carol Festival at Grace United Church on Sunday, December 3. The Weyburn Carol Festival has performances at 2 and 7 p.m.
The Christmas Concerts are coming up, with the junior music concert on Tuesday, December 12, and the senior concert on Wednesday, December 13, both in the Cugnet Centre.
Basketball and wrestling are in the spotlight for Weyburn Comp sports teams during the December 1 and 2 weekend. The senior boys’ basketball team is in Prince Albert and the junior girls’ team are in Swift Current for their first tournaments of the year. The wrestling team will be hosting their first tournament of the year in the Eagle gym on Saturday, December 1.
There is a professional development day on Monday, December 4, so there will be no school for the students.
The junior musical “Aladdin” was held at the Weyburn Cugnet Centre on November 28 and 29.
